Review on 🎨 Scotch General Use Masking Tape - Basic Painting, 1.88" x 60 yards, 2025, 1 Roll by David Berry

Would give this device ZERO stars if I could. Used this on a metal door to do some color inlays. Painted the door 2 weeks prior with Rust-Oleum white paint. Lined up the inserts, sealed the sides/ends and got to work. Took the tape off this morning and it's a hot mess. Even at a 45 degree angle as intended, the tape doesn't peel off in clean layers. It rips, rips, does everything it is NOT supposed to do, including peeling off new paint. It didn't stick and the paint ran horribly (no sharp, sharp edges). Even worse, he also removed the primer. Now I've exposed metal stains all over the door and now I need to repaint the ENTIRE DOOR. This tape sucks!
