The foil looks good but has a defect on one side. I'm not sure if this is normal, but if you're doing DIY then this is a site you can't use. Less mistakes.

When cutting the film, the edge was not in the best shape and small parts of the substrate were stuck in the adhesive. Made for the poor. The film is great and works like a charm. The movie conversion was just bad, so the fringe doesn't look good.

I used it to cover the headlight glass of my BMW R1200RT. Worked great. I tried testing this on the front of one of the panniers to protect the front edge from rocks. It had too much camber and was too difficult for me to get a good clean finish without looking like crap. So I took it off. All this work, and I even used a carefully cut template. But for flatter surfaces, it works really well if you follow the directions for applying the soapy alcohol.

I got this film for a non-automotive project - I was looking for a film that could protect my wife's new Rimowa carry-on. This is (expensive) aluminum luggage and we were/were looking for an invisible protective film instead of the standard bag protection otherwise offered.
