At first I thought I only needed brass brushes and came across this offer. Decided to give it a try and was glad I got the steel brushes as well as the brass brushes were good for some things but the steel brushes were better for the job I bought them for (cleaning copper door hinges). The metal fibers are slightly soft whether you use a steel or brass brush. The biggest problem is cheap, flimsy pens. Made from cheap plastic. They flex too much when pressure is applied during use. I will not buy these again nor will I recommend them to anyone. You get what you pay for. If you don't believe me, you will when you receive them.

I needed a brush to clean the internal connectors of my remotes (corrosion). I used baking soda and a toothbrush, but someone recommended fine wire brushes. She specifically recommended them here. For the price they are great. I was able to remove almost all of the corrosion from the battery terminals on my remotes without having to use liquids or other chemicals. I'm glad I bought this pack. They aren't the most durable but definitely represent excellent value for money.
