Great driver update

Great buy especially when upgrading old horn speakers. The sound is excellent and very loud (approx. 100W RMS+ amp/channel).

question of power?

Good for mids, not highs. If you use it for treble, make sure you don't break it too much. I have a 1600w mixer with two 1000 600w subwoofers One and I am selling it but this is my last time dealing with Pyle Pro.

Great Drivers!: Speakers

Just before Denver's St. Patrick's Day Parade this year, one of our old drivers burned out. Delivery was quick, it arrived just in time for the parade where the sound system helped us win Best In Parade! Excellent full sound from these drivers! So great, I ordered more and swapped out all my sound drivers!

PURE POWERFUL HIGH QUALITY

I installed these in a Selenium horn in a 2-way acoustic cab with 15" JBL drivers. At 3500 Hz they sound AMAZING! The L-PAD is about halfway there and they match the American JBL 15s perfectly. I've seen a lot of very expensive horn drivers and just can't imagine a $100 driver sounding four times better. This driver has very clean threads and very good build/finish, so far I have no complaints.

Mids not highs are good for car audio

Bought to replace a crappy burned out screw on a horn speaker in a cheap Nady floorstanding monitor. Much better construction and performance than the factory component, more SPL, but this is *not* a tweeter. This is a midrange speaker. For my application this will suffice as I need to hear vocals and music without much high quality audio (floor monitor/two way speaker system) but a bit more treble would be very valuable. In a three-lane configuration, this driver will most likely shine!

Hiss is not in Car Audio

is one of the highest quality midrange / tweeter. well finished, it should be noted that this mid/tweeter is mainly designed for medium voices and medium highs. You can also use this driver alone for the tweeter, this driver produces highs that are not as high as the super tweeter but close without the noise of the super tweeter. Using a proper crossover and dedicated EQ improves the sound significantly, producing a warm mid/high tone so that the full effect is achieved. This device weighs…
