The package I received was quite dry and hard - I could hardly use it in the pasta machine without adding oil and constantly kneading it, but then it got a lot of air bubbles that caught it in a fire caught fun way in the oven. Since then I've been buying it from my local store for a higher quality batch.

I used this to make the teeth for the Halloween costume mask (Venom from Spiderman). It was very easy to use and I've only used Sculpey once. It was the perfect product to put on and looked like real teeth. I added brown and yellow acrylic paint for a smooth finish and finished with a glossy trendy lipstick to give it a 'plus' look. Lots of extras how real they looked. My nephew loved his mask!

It was difficult to work with and too dry. Not cured translucent enough because it was old and dry?! Was very disappointed. Usually this brand is excellent. Seller's fault, not manufacturer's. This was included in a project I was working on for 2 weeks. Was worked around the results and got it to work. I learned a hard lesson: check the baked goods first. I had to send it back but I was limited in time.

After two attempts to return this product with no feedback from the seller, I have decided to write this review. First, the clay you bake to harden is and this entire block came pre-hardened, meaning it can no longer be shaped or used for any purpose. It could be the heat in the warehouse or just the sound getting harsh, but I don't care. It's snotty green in color, opaque, and completely unusable. I gave two stars because when I pick one it doesn't pass.

Premo is much stiffer than Sculpey III and takes longer to condition, but the plasticizers added to Premo make it a much better finished product. It doesn't break as easily as the Sculpey III. It's very strong. The Premo White is also much lighter and whiter than the Sculpy III White Clay. It's also easier to use than polymer clay. It doesn't burn that easily. A little tip for baking in the toaster: bake on a ceramic tile that you line with baking paper so that the clay base does not shine…

I almost never give bad reviews and have never wished for a zero rating. I've worked with Sculpey and other polymer clays since I was in school and have never seen clay in this condition. This clay is so old that I can't even work with it. It collapses immediately when I apply pressure. I've tried different methods to restore the sound but to no avail. I bought translucent clay, many of which are quite expensive, but thank goodness I found this one! If you are new to clay making I definitely recommend you get your hands on translucent clay as the effect is different from regular clay. I don't buy a bunch of colored clay because I like to mix it myself (using oil pastels or even eyeshadow). Mixing paint with white clay is MUCH harder than with translucent clay.
