SDS Joist Decking Butyl Flashing Review

This butyl flashing has been a lifesaver when it comes to maintaining our RV decking. It offers superior protection against moisture and keeps our floorboards in great condition. The fact that it's made for automotive use is a plus, as it means it can withstand the wear and tear of constant movement. However, the only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to apply, but once you get the hang of it, it's a breeze.

I've used many other more expensive caulking tapes that haven't held up as well as this stuff. In any case, I'll be recording to tape now (if they don't overload or the quality doesn't drop).

What I like about this product is that it's thick, slightly wider than the 2x8 bars it covers and it's definitely tacky. Since it does what it says on the tin, it's a bit difficult to peel off the clear plastic layer. But once you get started with that, I can remove the clear plastic while I put in the rubber. It works as promised and as I expected.
