Ok but just a preference, I like it more. That's exactly the size he says, so my mistake in buying it. For those who want a small magnifying glass, it's good to put it in my tote bag and use it at flea market to study things. Mine was stolen from a real estate sale for my parents. So I'm going to use this one for travel as it's small and I'm going to buy another one the same size and bigger for my regular business.

A very nice practical case that is easy to carry in your pocket or purse. The lens was larger than you often see on others, which I really liked. Each lens has 5x magnification (power), so using all three gives you 15x magnification. I would give it 5 stars if the lenses differed in power rating like 2X, 3X and maybe 5X so you can customize the power you need. 15X is a bit strong for most tasks other than splintering or pulling out unruly brow hairs. However, I intend to buy a few more of these

I ordered some plastic loupes because I couldn't find any more metal 10x loupes. They work just as well as the metal ones and even have 5x the extra power, but to be honest I'm not sure the extra increase would really help me. I lend these lenses to teachers and students for a field project in nature. The construction is ok, but not outstanding.
