Performance at an Exceptional Level

It's been years since I've camped or camped and even more since I was in the Navy. I didn't think much about the strength of the rope and just assumed cheap yellow plastic would do what I needed. I recently had to transport some items that needed tying up and the yellow junk gave up. When I saw this braided rope I knew it was time to update it. The rope is very strong and can be easily tied into a rope. I currently have a habit of hanging some storage items from the cross members in my garageโ€ฆ

Great brand and great rope product. love the spool!

Our family has used the SE brand for many years. It's worth paying attention to. The quality of their products is better than most. This particular product is a 50 foot length of 3/16 inch continuous nylon/polyester diamond wire. Claimed working load is 110 lbs. We didn't use it for that, so we can't verify it. The spool it is wound on is definitely awesome. Really helpful. Often we use the rope and then have to wind it back around the spool. to tie our trunk for transport and even use it inโ€ฆ

Pretty light workload but enough to tie things together.

Fairly little work, but enough to secure things on a car roof rack or trailer hitch. It's lightweight and compact, perfect for storing in the back of the car when you need to attach something to a roof rack or tow bar (hitch mounts and rack/ramps aren't very expensive and add a bit of U-traction). that can be hitched to your car at a reasonable price). Not suitable for heavy loads or (God forbid) as a safety line. Please define (and add a quarter) your load requirements and select theโ€ฆ

Stronger than it looks

We cut down a large tree a few days ago and it was the only rope we had on hand. So I climbed a tree and tied it to a branch so that after cutting, the falling branch would end up where we wanted it to be. The first branch we made this way was probably 8-10 inches in diameter - yes, a good size. I cut one side, then cut the back. I didn't want to be on the tree when it fell, so another person and I grabbed the rope and pulled and pulled. Even with two grown men pulling it, the relatively smallโ€ฆ

Slightly more expensive but handy set of ropes

Buying smaller quantities always costs more per unit (per foot in this case) but the rope is fairly easy to store and can be cut to length. necessary, so I don't understand the call to buy shorter lengths. Regardless, it's still a good GP rope and the keeper is really handy for keeping it neat and tidy until you need it. then it's a good buy. Personally, I'd buy a 200ft spool of 3/8" rope (twice the thickness of this rope) for $35 (a quick search for '200' 3/8" rope' comes up with a popularโ€ฆ
