Perfect size for a 20lb down sleeping bag

The perfect compression sack to pack my 20 lb mom down sleeping bag. Helps make room for the rest of my hiking gear when loading onto the bike. Excellent quality and easy filling.

Great design and very strong!

Great stuff sack! I put my whole Hennessy sleep system under the covers, straps and all. I can even put in any duvet or sleeping bag I need, but that changes with every trip so I'm not worried.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Doubtful

Looks good but larger than expected

I ordered a medium sized compression sack which is 8" in diameter and 18" in length but when filled with my sleeping bag it is 8" in diameter 7/16 inch it hard to get. in a compartment in my backpack. It looks well made and usable, but would work better if it was only 8 inches in diameter.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons

Incredible space saver

This bag saves space in your backpack. He just went to my sleeping bag and cut it down to about half. On another occasion I was able to adjust all my dresses + raincoat + outerwear for two weeks and shrink them to the size of a grapefruit. I also had the small size but didn't need it as that got the job done.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some little things

I love it so far! in dry bags

I bought this compression bag to travel with a smaller bag. I was able to put a lot of things in this bag and compress it a bit. The straps and buckles seem very durable so far. I just hope he stays strong. I might buy more in the future but might look for a waterproof one as this one is waterproof only.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Boating and Sailing with the Alps

I bought a small bag and it ripped trying to squeeze a large load of camping clothes into it. The gap didn't stop me from continuing to use it, but it did limit the ability to fully compress the content inside. I would recommend getting Alpen compression bags, they seem to hold up better to the wear and tear of a multi-day hike.

Pros
  • Boating and Sailing
Cons
  • Lots

Great package to pack!

Excellent compression bag! It squeezes my oversized Big Agnes Deer Park sleeping bag and a pillow small enough to fit in my backpack's sleeping bag compartment! Keeps contents dry. While the attached lid can sometimes be difficult to slide back when the bag is very full, it's definitely worth the effort as it's able to compress the contents so compactly and nicely that it's very convenient to pack.

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

I can't believe how much I can stuff in them!

I have several of these packsacks in different sizes for clothes, pillows and other bedding, various camping gear and many other things that I take with me in the car! A huge difference in how much space I now have for myself, not just my stuff! I've tried several other brands but keep going back to Sea to Summit for durability. Do they spend? Well, of course, but I still think it's money well spent!

Pros
  • Packsacks
Cons
  • Somewhat crumpled
