Wonderful fabric! in Fish & Aquatic Pets

I thought I was going to lose my black widow (black petticoat tetra)! She went through multiple treatments for fungal and bacterial infections and I was close to giving up. She has very nice fins and they didn't look that good and she had spots that didn't go away. I started double the dose on the first day and every day after taking my regular dose. It's been a week and she looks great again! I love this thing, it really helped!

StressGuard and Paraguard save the fish IMHO!

Very happy with this product used with Paraguard. I have a marine rig and am adding several fish at once, one of which is a fire angel which I lost 2 of shortly after adding it. After reading the reviews I decided to try these two products and while they may just be healthy samples, they all showed no signs of stress or illness and I don't think it's a coincidence that I did used these two products this time. I've dosed conservatively, but I think these articles are a great way to increase…

Suitable for the early stages of ICK and healing fin tears

Love this product, doesn't stain the water dark blue or anything. The consistency is similar to other Seachem products (watery) so I really believe when they claim not to interfere with the filtering function. My fish were happier and healthier than ever with this product. It really works in treating snapped fins and sick fish. I started dosing one of my new goldfish in my main tank at the first sign of illness and he recovered in about 3 days without infecting the others. I'm very glad I…

SeaChem is always quality!

I use Prime and Flourish regularly in my two tanks (46 gallon and 15 gallon). So when I rescued an injured and almost finless fish from an unsuspecting owner who was putting male and female bettas in a .75 gallon tank, I turned to SeaChem. Before the advent of StressGuard, I did a 20% water change daily to keep the bacterial population down. After StressGuard arrived, I dosed immediately after my daily water change until 24 hours later for another water change and redose (dosing only takes 24…

Far Superior to API Anti-Stress Coating

This material is great for healing burrs and scratches! I have a pink betta whose fins are prone to cracking and fin rot. I've found this stuff to be a must for him, so I now add it to his tank with every water change. I even add it to my goldfish tank as its fins are always a little sloppy from constantly bouncing along the bottom. His fins look like new now! I recommend not following the directions and only adding the full dose after a water change. Otherwise your aquarium will be filled with

A friend recommended me

This stressgaurd was recommended to me by a friend when I was buying an aquarium. The fish were lethargic or glassy due to stress or the new environment. They said it was a supplement (non-toxic) to add to the water to relax them. When I first ordered it it came in a box with other items and didn't have a plastic lid so the seal was broken and leaked inside the box. Revain was kind enough to replace it and the second bottle ALSO came without a cap but the cap was intact (I got other bottles…

Ideal for fast-acting wounds. Good price should be

Another quality tool/product from Seachem. Anyone who has browsed other Seachem products may have seen my reviews! I have been keeping fish for over 3 decades and have yet to find a product that even remotely resembles Seachem! Whether you're new to the hobby, a longtime enthusiast, or somewhere in between, the only way to succeed is to do it right and have and use the right tools for the job. I am far from a big believer in fish medication as I believe that changing the water and taking good…

Best saved my tail at Fish & Aquatic Pets

After a water change my tail got sick lying on its side on the bottom of the tank with what I thought was a snail on it eats a tail. I'm glad I had it on hand. After trying a "betta fix" that didn't seem to do anything, I reinforced it and added this as it seemed like my betta was dead and I had nothing to lose. Well I'm happy to report that after 4 days of daily water changes (I put the Bettas in a smaller quarantine container) he came back to life with StressGuard. He no longer lies on his…
