Seachem 67105330 Reef Plus 500Ml Review

Expired five years before receipt. I didn't check the date before using it and lost $300 worth of livestock overnight. The corals were moving like crazy. I hope they recover. Several fish and invertebrates died. Something also leaked from the bottle. I assumed so at the time of delivery.

Same as the newer ones, hurry to release amino acids in shiny bottles that cost two or three times more and it used to be fashionable to dose these things. Requires refrigeration as this is a broad spectrum supplement containing more than just amino acids. Mine came sealed with plenty of expiry time (years).

I put it in the water column I don't fish with it I've heard some bad things about coral melting if you try to splash it a little too close though my corals seem to like it when i put a full cover or two in the water all the polyps and food for their tentacles come out so they must be happy to eat it.

I had a nice Xenia farm in my frag tank department for years until I made the mistake of trying this stuff. Literally a day or two after taking it, everything shrank and died. A bit surprised as most of the other SeaChem products I use work great. If you want to wipe unwanted Xenia off the face of the earth, you should definitely try this thing. I've never seen it melt so fast.

This is a great product that competes with Aqua Vitro's more expensive fuel. Seachem makes both products and apart from the price I don't see any difference. All of my corals seem to respond positively to this product and I have a 120 gallon reef tank full of large corals so I assure you I'm picky about what I use. Buy it here at Revain too, not only will you save money over going to the pet store, you'll also save on the hassle of driving.

I use it and it's hard to say it actually does everything I can relate directly to this product. But my tank is healthy and all my corals are thriving. After using up my entire 500ml bottle, I ordered a 2 liter bottle. When the 2 liter bottle arrived there appears to be a layer of dark substance at the bottom. Hmmm. All I can say is that my underperforming green mushroom doubled its previous size almost instantly. I can't explain it with anything other than the addition of this supplement. This happened after my second dose, about 4 days after the first. Now four days after dose 2 it is still more than before using this supplement. I can't say that in the long term.
