Description of Seachem Liquid Neutral Regulator 250Ml

NEUTRALIZES PH: Neutral Regulator adjusts pH to neutral (pH 7.0) from either a low or high pH and maintains it there. SOFTENS WATER: Seachem’s Neutral Regulator softens water by precipitating calcium and magnesium while removing any chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifying ammonia. OPTIMAL PERFORMANCE: To lower pH below 7.0 use the Neutral Regulator with Seachem’s Acid Regulator or Discus Buffer. To raise pH above 7.0 use with Seachem’s Alkaline Regulator. TANK USE: Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) for every 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) once or twice a month (or as necessary to maintain a pH of 7.0.) Neutral Regulator may be initially used daily in cases of high alkalinity until 7.0 is established. SAFETY: Seachem’s Neutral Regulator is safe for all freshwater fish acclimated to neutral pH. It contains phosphate buffers and conditioning agents.

Must use too much!

You should use this quantity for 50 gallons. Aquarium! I use the same brand but in powder form and you only need two teaspoons. This liquid is wasteful.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Requires Outlet

Poor quality and false advertising

The seller sent me an open, leaking and expired product in old packaging. Not as described. I threw it in the trash and contacted Amazon.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • The list will be long.

I really like this product

I really like this product. I have a small tank of 20 liters. I have very hard water at home. I used PH-Down for maintenance but I like it a lot more. The first time I used it, it bothered me a bit and the tank fogged up. Everything was fine for a few minutes and it works great for me.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

There is no seal on the bottle I received

The product works well. When it arrived some of it leaked and when I opened the bottle I found the seal was completely missing. So I paid for a full 250ml bottle and only got about 100-150ml. I know Seachem always seals their products, I have been using their products for many years. I'm honestly disappointed 😞

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Suitable for hard city water

Used as an all purpose water change in my aquarium. I don't always have access to a reverse osmosis machine, but it works great as a replacement. It reduces acidity and dechlorinates my crappy tap water. so good I used it on my plants in a bundle too. The advantage is that you do not need other air conditioners. Seachem products can be a bit pricey but they did not disappoint. A good thing.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Problem

I love Seachem products

I could use Ph-Down same result but part of the price. I treat myself to 2.5 gallon caps so I used the whole bottle on my 120 gallon. This dropped my pH from 7.4 to 7.0 and within 24 hours it was back to 7.4 and my new blue sheep weren't adjusting (they prefer softer water than 7 but I chose a regulator because it would stabilize the pH, but it didn't (didn't help). 't). I love Seachem products. but this one abandoned me and my fish.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Some flaws
