Total bullshit! The packaging was destroyed. No screws. The lid is locked but not unscrewed when unlocked. 50+ dollars for it, seriously? To return!

Take your $53 and throw it out the window I tried opening the lid of my boat for the first time. and won't unlock. I'm going to put my old non-locking cap back on, which isn't easy. Is there a guarantee on this pile of Revain junk?

A real disappointment. It took a while to put the old one on and install this one, so the third time trying to unlock it didn't work. More frustrated with my install and uninstall time than $55. I also canceled a planned fishing trip because I couldn't get gas when I stopped at the gas station.

As many other reviewers have pointed out, it gets stuck in the locked position and you can't refuel. I took it apart and found that after only a few weeks of installation, the plastic tab that secures the lid when unlocked was broken. It's made of soft plastic that seems to degrade with any contact with fuel. Save yourself the headache and buy another gas station.

I installed this last August and fueled the boat before winter storage and of course closed the fuel cap. Well I opened it the other day after spending a few hours on the lake and it won't rotate. It stays firm and almost feels like a plastic guide or gear teeth when I twist it to the unlocked position. In the locked position, it rotates freely as it should. I don't know what to do other than remove it to get more gas in the tank.
