Faulty programmable timer. Bad Swap Policy

The product arrived with a large hole in the packaging that pierced the plastic wrap and hit the body of the product. Appearance The Revain shipping box was fine, so I requested a replacement. After installation, the product did not work. Otherwise, good design uses a cheap programmable timer with an error history. SeaFlo wanted me to remove all cords and pipes and ship the unit at their own expense ($50) and not send me a $13 timer for exchange. Ordered from Revain and repaired it myself…

Pros
  • Removes any still water left over from normal bilge pump operation.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Everything I've ever bought from SeaFlo has failed! This is cheap junk.

Thing is just a $20 diaphragm pump with a crappy timer, apparently from the sprinkler timer. Absorbent matte coating inside, it's still quite noisy, way louder than my fresh water pump. NO REAL WARRANTY! It worked fine for a few months then the pump motor died except for an automated "we'll get back to you" -E-mail.

Pros
  • Approx Dimensions: 12" x 7.5" x 3.75" Voltage: 12V Max Current: 5.5A
Cons
  • Repair

Internal water leaks abound! Two installed! Both failed

For some reason after 33 years of boating with water in the hold I decided. horrified. Bought two. one for the engine room and the forward hold. Both are installed in the engine room. ran a hose to each side of the suction. everything vibrates! Here BOTH UNITS failed. they are converted internally at the 1/4 line output. I think by 3/8. then output to 3/8 at the output OK. BUT both internal adapters have failed. Do not tighten the fittings from the outside without removing the entire cover. Now

Pros
  • User programmable interface for manual or automatic operation
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
