The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

The disc was bought for a media server on a computer. I read in reviews that helium discs are loud. In fact, it turned out to be no louder than the old discs of the Barracuda family. I took additional cooling on the disk, in fact it was not needed, since the temperature of the disk in the ventilated case is acceptable (40-45 degrees under load). The cooler is gathering dust unopened

Pros
  • I chose a disk for reliability, based on Backblaze statistics. At the time of purchase (February 2022), the failure rate was 0.97%, which in my opinion is a good result. Good performance and value for money. 5 year warranty
Cons
  • During the operation did not reveal

Good electronics are good for data storage

Drive works great. The data recording is audible but not loud. This noise mainly occurs when the hard drive is defragmented or when recording from multiple sources at the same time. In normal operation, it is rarely heard. It does not come with cables or additional mounts. 10 TB of storage is good.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Suitable for my data storage needs

I installed this hard drive on my Linux home server. Works great, installation was easy. The noise level is no higher than the other two hard drives I have.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Some small things

Know your car: data memory

no delivery problems. We had some compatibility issues on a 1 year old Dell engineering workstation we were trying to install it on (Windows 10). Finally I used it on another (Linux) computer and it seems to work fine. Never found out what the problem was with the first workstation and that drive.

Pros
  • worth its money
Cons
  • too stupid

Brand new drives with Seagate validated 5 year 2 month warranty

I bought these from Serverpartdeals. Fast delivery. Brand new, sealed in anti-static bags. I have confirmed on the Seagate website that both are legitimate non-OEM drives with support through November 2024. I plan to use these guys when I need more.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Neutral

Seagate is the best!

Use this drive as a backup. Plenty of room for frequent backups of everything. No spinning noise at all. Definitely recommend!

Pros
  • Well done
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Replacing the exact same hard drive that failed prematurely.

As I'm replacing one that died after about a year or so, I'm not particularly impressed with its longevity. But the other drives were fine, so maybe it's a one-time problem, I don't know.

Pros
  • Support for 10TB of data with an easy-to-integrate SATA hard drive
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something
