Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

Great hdd if income allows. They also took the Toshiba MG series, there are serious complaints about them, who are interested, I will answer in the comments. Seagate Exos - everything is fine. Pros below: The EXOS series is one of the most reliable hdd not only by seagate, but in general among the hdd of all manufacturers. Different cons: They are not in this class of devices. The cost in this case is not an argument, these are industrial hdds, where reliability and speed are a priority.

A very high-quality product, I take it not for the first time.

Be sure to check in the presence of the courier! Then it is almost impossible to prove your case. Theoretically, the video recording can serve as evidence, but it may not be accepted.

Pros
  • The disk is excellent. It is a pity that at first the marriage was caught, I had to fray my nerves proving that it was damaged before opening the package. The manufacturer proved himself in the best possible way, photos of the damage were sent to technical support, and as it turned out, this is a warranty case for the manufacturer, unlike the seller and . market. The disk was taken to the collection point and within 4-5 days a new one was brought home by courier for replacement. Seagate support is my big bow! While I was waiting for the outcome of this situation, I bought another one, naturally from another seller. As a result, I put both in Raid1 in the NAS. They work perfectly, they are quite loud, but if you have a good case or are installed in a place specially designated for NAS, then you will not notice.
Cons
  • Brought non-working, with mechanical damage, in a sealed package. Return via . market failed. They wrote once mechanical damage is removed from the guarantee. It turns out the only way to prove that the goods were delivered with damage is to unpack it on camera. I'm not sure most people do this. So there is no way to protect yourself from an unscrupulous seller. I will decide in court. For the rest, if you have already contacted these unfortunate companies (the seller and . market) - record the unpacking on the camera !

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

purchased 4 units at a discount for 28 each disk in July 2022. The discs were delivered on schedule, I checked them all, and they were all in fine shape. Standard anti-static sealed bags and a ton of paper were packed in a box with discs. Serial numbers on the disk itself were located on the packages, however those locations were torn. Scuffs from packing other devices into the sled can be seen on the sides of the disks. There are still 3.5 years left in the warranty period, which started 1.5…
