🚣 Enhance Your Kayaking Experience with Sea-Lect Designs Performance Kayak Hatch Cover (VCP Oval) Review

When I tried this product out on my kayaking trip, I was immensely disappointed. Despite claiming to be a "performance" hatch cover, it leaked profusely, leaving my gear wet and ruined. The design felt flimsy and unreliable, and I couldn't trust it to keep my belongings safe. The only positive aspect was that it was easy to install, but that hardly matters when it fails to do its job. Save your money and invest in a more trustworthy option for your Sports and Outdoors needs.

Pretty disappointed with this replacement cover. I bought this to replace a five year old Select Design cover that was cut open by an unknown perpetrator. The old one had a shiny finish on both the rubber OD and the plastic cap, but the new replacement has a shiny matte finish all over. It doesn't match my other two hatches and looks cheap compared to the original. I'm only keeping it because I need it and I'll put it on the tailgate so I don't have to look at it 👎🏽

The hatches appear to be more rigid than the VCP hatches and also look a lot smaller but they do fit perfectly with my old avocet from 2003 made by rotomoulding. . I've ridden them for a bit and they haven't had any leakage issues. The hatches don't have the same sense of bomber protection, but I haven't experienced them in surf combat either.
