Ideal protection against ear pressure ulcers while sleeping

This ear cushion, although designed for headphones, is by far the best medical device for those who get ear pain from side sleeping. Well made, perfect to eliminate ALL pressure points and ensure a normal sleep pattern. The pad is open in the middle so that the ear does not retain moisture. We find that when the gel is held around the head with an elastic loop, the gel pad stays in place throughout the night.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Not bad

Great solution for older people with CNH.

They were purchased for my elderly mother because she suffers from a condition called chondrodermatitis nodosa (CNH) which causes painful lesions on patients' ears usually caused by abrasions as that is the ear , in which they sleep on . . I heard about them on the message board and they were way cheaper than the $70 pillow her doctor recommended. It was a great decision! They are soft and fit my mom's ear perfectly.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Blank

Good replacement but requires a lot of patience to install

This is a great replacement for the original David Clark headset headphones. They are comfortable and do a good job of isolating the noise in the cockpit of a small plane. They are not easy to install over the plastic case of phones. It's snug fitting and it takes a lot of careful stretching and fumbling to get them snapped where they should be. Once installed they are worth the effort.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Functionality

Good value for money. - Headsets and Intercoms

The fit is tight and requires some work to install, but you want it! I replaced old Dave Clarks that kept falling in my flight bag and that solved the problem. They are sold as OEM Dave Clark; I find that dubious at best. I swapped out a few components on my headset and all of the Dave Clark items were boxed with their names but this one wasn't. Also, the gel pads I removed had Dave Clark's part numbers stamped on them, but these didn't. That being said the overall quality I was looking for…

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • No Performance

I never write product reviews but I found this product to be worth it. First, the delivery was fast and the item was exactly as ordered. Now the product itself was a different story. First, they're noticeably less comfortable than genuine David Clarke replacements, being square and flat while the DC's are round and snug on the ear. The biggest problem that made me buy replacement DCs yesterday was that they keep falling! The lip she holds is half the size of David Clark's models. Do yourself a…

Suitable for almost everything.

Can't comment on durability yet, but these pillows seem excellent. Almost as comfortable as my $300+ David Clarke standard gel pads. I bought these to upgrade a couple of used headsets I have. I can say they reliably fit my DC H10-13.4, DC H10-76, DC H10-40, Softcomm C-40 and Telex Echelon 100. Based on my experience and the list published by the manufacturer, I can bet they will fit most passive headsets. Plus, for $16, you can really rejuvenate your aviation headset. Some people complained…
