Arrived on time as described. I put a Shakespeare 3ft AM/FM radio antenna on it and it works fine. proven not good for an 8ft antenna

Only use for SMALL antennas! The lock nut loosens while driving, forcing you to disassemble and tighten the lock. If you have a big antenna, this thing slides over the grooves. Spend the extra money on a stainless steel bracket as the savings aren't worth it.

Overall I've been looking for this. It has many small teeth in the locking mechanism for micro adjustments. The inner bolt was too short to reach the nylon portion of the nylon nut, I fixed this by applying some thread sealant to the threads of the bolt.

It's impossible to imagine a mountain holding together in light swells, let alone rough seas! You get what you pay for, so spend more and get a quality pry bar that won't let you down, even in rough seas, when you really need VHF transmission.
