Handle lock is easy to remove

Very soft plastic. He continued to slide sideways along the railing. Easy removal of the locking handle. I had to drill holes and drive in stainless steel screws to make it work properly.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • There are problems

Only use for SMALL antennas! The lock nut loosens.

Only use for SMALL antennas! The lock nut loosens while driving, forcing you to disassemble and tighten the lock. If you have a big antenna, this thing slides over the grooves. Spend the extra money on a stainless steel bracket as the savings aren't worth it.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some small things

Fits 3/4 inch PVC threaded fitting

Overall I've been looking for this. It has many small teeth in the locking mechanism for micro adjustments. The inner bolt was too short to reach the nylon portion of the nylon nut, I fixed this by applying some thread sealant to the threads of the bolt.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • So-so

Waste of time and money

cheap tee assembled product, never made it less than 1/2 mile to the boat ramp before falling to pieces. The lock nut is loose in the tightest position. It's impossible to imagine a mountain holding together in light swells, let alone rough seas! You get what you pay for, so spend more and get a quality pry bar that won't let you down, even in rough seas, when you really need VHF transmission.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not the best
