I love this book. I'm not thrilled with every piece but plan on knitting at least 4. I have already knitted a double-breasted cardigan. I'm not a knitter. The only way to knit such complex patterns was to follow such detailed instructions line by line. Each item has instructions and photos that span multiple pages. I wish I had something this detailed for baby clothes, but it seems like this "author" only posts for dolls.

These knitting books are SO easy to learn too! My biggest problem is putting needles away to do chores and sleep! The mother of the little girl I make these doll clothes for had an American Girl doll when she was little, and if she's asked me once, she's asked me a thousand times why didn't you make these outfits for me, when I was little? This is a gem and the instructions are very clear and concise to follow. I should have over sixty books with different doll clothes to choose from. I will do

I love this book. I don't have a doll and I don't even know a little girl who has a doll that would match the knitted dresses in this book. but I bought it and the other book that goes with it anyway. I love to knit, the patterns are very pretty and easy to knit. I figured I should do what I always do, which is sew a piece of clothing, put it away and wait for the right person to come and hand it over. You can't go wrong with this book.
