Works as advertised

It only takes one person to bleed your system, no mess. I mean NO mess! Buy a starfish product, not a cheap version. Makes life easier.

Much better for boating

I've used cheap bleed kits but never got all the air out. I still had to bleed it a few times, but that might be because I used the cheap ones before. I can finally get solid steering with this kit, and it's easy to use and not messy like the cheap ones.

bladder is bleeding! For sports

This product has no leaks, but you may still have air in the control unit. Note: Do not cover the air outlets during use to remove air pockets from the steering wheel. If you do this, the hose will fail. We make the product, fix the leak at the end of the bottle and just install it.

Pay attention to the gap between the bleeder valve and the motor

As I said in the title, pay attention to the gap between the bleeder valve and the motor. When I turned to starboard the quick coupler was too high and the part of the engine that connects to all the electrical and hydraulic lines broke the quick coupler in half. I think screwing the quick connector to the compression fitting made it too long. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue if the quick connect used a jagged connection to the polyline to reduce the added 1/2 inch or so. I hope the…
