Good option for a shorty

I bought this and had to get a different size but once I got the correct size things are good. I just went to Grand Cayman Island in a diving trip and this was perfect.

Pros
  • PREMIUM 3MM NEOPRENE — Short-sleeve spring suit cut forms to the body like a second skin.
Cons
  • May be difficult to put on and take off

So far so good. good for me

Planning a snorkeling trip in June and needed this. I am a big guy, 6'0' and 235 lbs. I ordered 3xl and initially it seemed tight but I checked with a friend of mine who as an avid scuba diver and he assured me it fit perfectly and would "loosen" up in the water. He recommended that as long as you can seat the crotch and shoulder, you are good to go. I tried it out in the pool which was around 65 degrees and I felt very comfortable. Yes, it definitely feels more free in the water. It…

Pros
  • It's ideal for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and other water activities
Cons
  • May not provide enough flexibility for more experienced divers

Top quality. for my opinion

I bough this one and an O'Neal brand for double of the price, both same good quality! No difference at all except this is half of the price

Pros
  • The Seavenger Navigator 3mm Neoprene Shorty Wetsuit is available in multiple colors
Cons
  • Not recommended for use in rough seas or choppy waters

Great quality, but too small

Great quality, but was too small. This company is great though! I have bought from them in the past. They make the most comfortable wetsuits. Each style could differ a bit in size though. They back their products and they are easy to get ahold of.

Pros
  • This wetsuit feels like a second skin, allowing you to move freely in the water
Cons
  • Not recommended for use in rocky or sharp underwater environments

Choose men's wetsuit if you are plus size.

The women's sizes run small and expect that plus size women still have smaller waists. So the men's size fit my body type much better, except that the legs were loose and the neck a bit high. Worked well enough for warmth and protection, though would want a tighter fit in the legs if we would have been in colder water.

Pros
  • ‎Women's 3
Cons
  • Fabric may wear out quickly with frequent use

Great value, just go by waist size.

This wetsuit is very good for pool use or warm water scuba dives or snorkeling . When using the size chart it is most helpful to go by waist size as the suits run large on the other measurements. Great value.

Pros
  • The wetsuit is comfortable to wear, thanks to its lightweight and non-restrictive design
Cons
  • May not provide enough sun protection for extended use

Wow, I'm very pleasantly surprised with this wetsuit. It fits great. I ordered the XXL. I'm 5' 9.5" but have a long torso and short legs. Most people with torsos my size are maybe 6'4". Length of your torso is key to getting the size right. My build is muscular but I could lose 5 Lbs. I was 203 Lbs just before I tried it on. I hope this helps some people on sizing. As far as quality, this suit was a real bargain. The quality is very good. Nothing is crooked and it's all stitched and/or…

Pros
  • It comes in a stylish design that looks great on everyone
Cons
  • Not recommended for use in waves or strong currents

Great product good for me

Great product. Finally got to dive with it. Only small weight adjustment (1 lbs) only thing I don’t like is the rubber pulls my leg hair at the seam on the edge but it is a wetsuit so that’s a given.

Pros
  • The suit is resistant to fading and discoloration
Cons
  • May cause shortness of breath in some individuals

good fit and value in my review

Size xl for 195lbs 6ft 2 in seemed small at first but turned out fine. Zipper stuck first time getting out at the beach, but got a buddy to help without damaging suit. Will wax the zipper and hope the suit doesn't keep getting bigger!

Pros
  • It's easy to put on and take off and doesn't require any special instructions
Cons
  • May cause difficulty in swimming or moving in the water

Must size off their charts.

Excellent wetsuit. You must buy off their chart NOT normal clothing size. Ordered for my husband who wears a 38 waist pant, 230 lbs (all belly but muscular arms/legs) who normally wears an XL in clothing but I ordered the 4XL and it is

Pros
  • COMFY FIT — Self-fastening adjustable sleeve width & flat-lock stitching prevent skin irritation.
Cons
  • May cause discomfort or chafing in wet conditions

Nice Quality: my feedback

I needed a light weight shorty for a trip to the Caymans but didn’t want to spend too much for a one week trip. The suit arrived and I was very surprised at the weight and quality of the product. It was just the right weight for late spring water temp in the Caymans. Just be aware that you need to order up at least one size as they apparently run small. I’m 5’10 and weigh 165 and I needed an extra large. Normally I’d think about a medium but probably try a large. After reading several comments…

Pros
  • The 3mm neoprene material is thick enough to protect you from sharp objects and creatures in the water
Cons
  • May be too short for taller individuals

Size chart is accurate

I'm in my late fourties. My build is skinny but i have a bit of a beer gut. This fit well and made good seals at the arms, legs, and neck. It accomodated my belly. Used for two weeks snorkeling in Hawaii. Would buy again. The size chart is accurate.

Pros
  • ‎Neoprene
Cons
  • Requires additional gear for diving or snorkeling activities

Good quality - my new review

Comfortable, durable. Happy with the purchase. True to size. Love that neck and sleeves are adjustable. I had already three dives in it and no regrets.

Pros
  • Diving & Snorkeling
Cons
  • May not provide enough warmth for some users

This was perfect. It kept me warm

This was perfect. It kept me warm. I got a size 5 in the wetsuit. Fit like a glove. I'm 120 pounds, 5ft, 32C/34B bra size, I wear a size 2 in pants. Make sure you look at the sizing chart. The neck is a little snug but really wasn't an issue. Was able to move with ease and it was comfortable. Also delivered on time. PERFECT.

Pros
  • This wetsuit is a great choice for beginners and experienced water sports enthusiasts alike
Cons
  • Not suitable for activities that require extra mobility, such as surfing
