CLOSED CELL FOAM SHEET: Second Skin OverKill Pro is a 3/8 inch thick closed cell foam sheet that works with sound deadening and barrier products to reduce vehicle noise. Each sheet is 9 Sq Ft (2 ft by 4.5 ft). DECOUPLER: Closed cell polyethylene foam will not block or absorb large amounts of sound, but it does an excellent job of decoupling two hard surfaces. Create a cushion to stop rattles and vibration noise caused by speakers, subwoofers, plastic panels, an. HIGH DENSITY INSULATION: Highly water resistant, heat resistant up to 165 F, and an r-value per inch of 4.33. OverKill Pro is one of the toughest closed cell foam insulation sheets on the market. IMPROVE SPEAKER ACOUSTICS: Reduce sound distortions in your car’s door panel by installing a closed cell foam “carpet” to reduce the empty room effect inside your door. Proudly made in the USA.

Great product! Highly recommended.

Great for interior decoration of your doors. I also had this horrible rattling panel in the back of my SUV. After you stuff the overkill in, nothing rattles!

Works as advertised, mutes audio where needed and improves audio clarity. Ready to cut and shape. Gluing can be done with sprayed upholstery glue or just tape to hold it in place.

I tried installing this foam when it was 40 degrees outside.

Tried to install this foam in 40 degree outside temperature. The smell was unbearable at 10 feet. I can't imagine the smell in your cabin on a hot summer day. There was a strong smell of burnt rubber or asphalt. Deleted, rest returned. I have used Second Skin products successfully in the past, don't know what happened to this product.
