I have these closet doors that require this piece and I was so glad to find these online--I could not find them at my local Loews store. I installed myself. Not difficult. Work great! Sue R.

The edges of the strike plate are sharp and not rounded as shown in the listing pictures. Beware of quality. The ones in Home Depot have a much better finish.

These are working great and were relatively easy to install. The only complaint I have is that they are a little difficult to adjust after getting them installed. Not sure how they'd make it easier.Overall, they get the job done.

Our the ball catches on our coat closet doors get a TON of use every day. Consequently, they wear out at the pace of at least once a year per side. These catches are super easy to swap out and adjust. This time around I bought six of them so we have enough extras on hand to last us a LONG time.

Installed easily on the wood of my rudder and its housing. Keeps things lined up nicely under normal pressure and clicks back in place without a fight after the rudder is kicked loose.

I had two doors that had this type of closure, both had failed and thus the doors obviously wouldn't stay closed. Bought these to replace the failed ones and found them to be a perfect replacement with an added feature, they can be adjusted to get the right "tension" in the ball to hold the doors closed better. I found these to be outstanding replacements and thus would highly recommend!

This door ball catch is very well constructed and I'm sure that, if I had a lick of DYI capability, I easily could switch things out, but I don't, and I can't. The ball popped off the existing French door catch and I bought this replacement when I could not find the missing ball. I first tried substituting a ball from this purchase (there are 2 catches) but it was just a tiny bit larger than the missing ball (apparently) and would not fit in the existing metal cartridge. Much better quality than the type that usually come with the door. Make sure you know your way around a chisel if you plan on installing these yourself.

Amazing what these little pieces of metal did for my peace of mind. Could not get my closet door to close and after working on them decided to see if new one would work. They close tightly each time now that I have replaced the old ones with these new ones.

these fit perfect and I got two for the price of one. My cabinet door clicks and unclicks smoothly and securely. The ball catch might emit a grinding sound when the closet door is opened or closed!

I need to order this type of product before we went on vacation and this was the only one that said it would arrive on time so I purchased even thought it was a little more than the other ones that would have arrived too late. seems kind of cheap. Not sure how long they will last with this door opening and closing a few times a day. You can adjust the height of the roller ball but it does not stay. It's like this door latch needs a lock nut to prevent it from moving. Not too happy, wouldn't buy

I had a broken lock, so I used this to stop the door from falling open when I removed the previous lock and it solved the problem

Perfect solution, combined with a different door handle, to convert a pantry door to accommodate a tight fit. The ball catch might not be able to withstand excessive weight or pressure!
