I have tried the capacitor mod along with the 280uF, 2.2uF and 10uF mod but the PWM repeater firmware is just too slow to be reliable Fan control along with a 400Hz PWM module. Capacitor mods act like motor starting caps, giving them the ability to start with very low duty cycles, but the fan regulates its own PWM to the best of its ability, and there is no noticeable difference in airflow between 50% and 100% at 15Hz PWM Follower and PWM controller 400 Hz PWM. In short, this fan is ideal for…

Amazing Internal Components

I bought one of these for the upgraded print head I made for my Anycubic i3 Mega S. This fan is so quiet I had to lift it up to feel the air coming out. Almost total silence. I believe between fan and exhaust fan my printer COULD be around 18db. It's so nice not to hear the fans running while typing. If silence is gold, then this fan is worth its weight in gold for the lack of decibels.

Nice fan, not controllable without small modification.

Nice fan, amazing how much air it moves for its size. The reason I deducted a star is that it cannot be controlled out of the box. As mentioned in other reviews, you can make it rideable by adding a capacitor, a 220uF capacitor at 16V. However, it's surprisingly difficult to find detailed instructions or pictures on exactly how to add a capacitor. So I'll add them here and hope it helps someone else looking for information. My description aside, I'm not the best at explaining things. I will put

Worked great for a mechanical engineering I'm doing!

I needed a small but powerful fan for a machine I'm building and it worked great. I disconnected and used my own on two wires and within minutes I was up and running. Great little quiet and powerful fan!
