Perfect for my needs

I travel a lot for work and this camera is quick to set up and allows me to see my dogs in every hotel or company apartment I live in. The image quality of the camera is excellent and the motion sensors are very good.

It's fragile and cheap

the camera was working great until I had to reset it and I tried to press the button with the stylus provided and it broke and is now inside the camera is rattling and i can't reset it to connect to my new wifi so its literally just a paperweight

Excellent value for dome cameras

Works well and provides excellent image quality. I like the motion controls where you can move them a little or a lot. The range of motion isn't as impressive when mounted on a wall or the bracket itself, but when seated on a shelf it's great until you try to look down.

The image is very clear

I have several Yi security cameras that I am very happy with. When looking to add another camera, my first thought was to get another of the original 1080p domes, but I opted for this one instead. In all respects it is in no way inferior to the older model and the picture is even better.

Wonderful! on Camera & Photo

I bought this product for a friend instead of a very expensive baby monitor. She likes it very much. She said the picture is great, calm and unobtrusive while her baby sleeps and has a wider view. I bought a smaller Yi for home use but looks like I need to upgrade to this version!

Wi-Fi Security Camera

Image quality is pretty good for the price, sound quality is decent, PTZ speed is good. The build quality is good, the app is very easy to use. The bad thing is that you have to pay even with an SD card to see more than 6 seconds of recording, warnings keep coming even in HOME mode. You can't set perimeters and video search slows down a bit. Night mode in low light didn't work for me.

Try the Kami (dome) model or something else

This camera was in a hurry. The software needs some work/improvement as my Kami (inner dome) released over a year ago has a MUCH BETTER picture quality, it's sharper and clearer. This 'new' camera (apparently released in April) has a lot of ghosting/shading and your movements leave a trail of images of what you just captured as if it were a Thousand Hands show. My kami camera (inner dome) is connected side-by-side and the old one works better (it's basically the same) ('new' is just an updated…
