Left shoe from our first pair that lasted less than a week. The right boot is from a spare pair that lasted about a month. The rubber on these boots wears out and breaks. My toddler wears orthotics in his boots. Since it is summer and we play outside and in the water every day, if he spends a lot of time barefoot, his feet and legs hurt. We were looking for a "sandal" or water shoe that offered enough structure (rubber sole, real heel and sides of the shoe) to support his orthopedic shoe, but was breathable and waterproof like a sandal. I was looking for shoes for my grandson with big flat feet. I was so excited to give him this pair. Until my daughter told me that the tie broke on the third wear! He's a new walker so he only wore them in short bursts. Given the price and the reputation of the Kai brand, I certainly expected the shoe to last.

My son has wide feet and this is one of the few brands that doesn't blister him! I can't count the number of pairs I've bought from this brand since it's been out! I'm a shopper at a major retailer in a different category and it's taking me a long time to write a review as I'm such a discerning shopper! Congratulations on a great product of consistent quality!

These shoes are amazing. My 5 year old wore them all summer and they have held up great! He loves them and they must be very comfortable because he never complains. Very durable. Also ideal for water games. And when they get dirty, they can be easily washed. I think I might buy a large pair for later.

My son has worn them less than a dozen times and the elastic cord holding the sides together has already snapped and torn making them unwearable. these should be his summer shoes this year and i expected a much better quality for the price. Skip them and buy better quality shoes at half the price.

I love how the shoes keep my child's feet cool but prevent rocks and sticks from getting into the shoes. They don't slip when you walk. They're great for little kids. Great water shoes for my toddler. They are wide enough for his big feet. He loves this brand of shoes because they are very comfortable. It is worth buying because of the comfort and cute design. Can recommend it unreservedly.

We have been fans of the See Kai Run since my daughter could walk. Their shoes are expensive but after trying other cheaper brands we keep coming back to SKR. I was looking for a playground/lightweight walking shoe for them and they fit the bill.
