All in One for Newbie

The Wio terminal is ideal for beginners who want to explore electronics, programming, automation and prototyping. It's not that expensive, and Grove terminals are a great addition.

It's pretty neat!

Not quite sure what I'm going to do with this yet but I really like its compactness and compatibility with Arduino etc. I installed a few test sketches and it works great!

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons

Great compact stm32 board with features

Love this little device. Ardupy is a bit tricky to use but with python circuit, arduino and microphone it's very easy. It is still a little young, but is actively developing. I was hoping that Wi-Fi wasn't compatible with Wi-Fi, but unfortunately it isn't. WiFi only works with arduino and ardupy. I hope that one day there will be a compatible Micropython driver.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Powerful with great potential!

I would give this device 5 stars if it had a little more support and libraries. Obviously this is a newer device and unfortunately Circuitpython doesn't support the Realtek WiFi chip so I'm stuck on the Arduino. The Cortex M4 is a great little chip and this thing is really good. If it could include some additional programming features and support similar to the M5Stacks I have, it could really give you a bang for your buck! I haven't taken the time to see if I can get the Tiny Go to work with…

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Almost everything there

Good hardware is limited by questionable software

A mostly positive review first, read the positive parts. But we will start with problems. Because if you plan to use this device for anything other than basic training, you will encounter hurdles. compatible with other devices, which is good. However, as with many other devices, this is achieved by hacking existing open source Arduino libraries to work with the device. In the case of the Wio terminal, the libraries are an amalgamation of Arduino, AdaFruit, and Seeed code wrapped around the…

Pros
  • New to my collection
