I tried the vinyl or whatever tube type "speed" jump ropes and I guess I'm not fast enough because I ended up more than jumping. This rope has enough weight for me to old school jump and now that I don't pass out after 30 seconds I can "speed" jump with it.

They do the trick. They work for me. I'm 6 foot and i got the biggest rope they had.I wish there were some type of chart that tells you if your this height then this ropeis recommended. Really great price i can't complain either way!

This isn't a terrible jump rope, but it's pretty overpriced for quite how cheaply constructed it is. It's the very thinnest of plastic and there's a fair amount more string than the beads cover. That said, it works fine to jump rope and functions like the old school PE ropes. I'm 5'5" and the 9' is plenty long.

Bought for my 6 year old and 4 year old nieces! The jump ropes were a little big BUT they work great. The girls jump around all day. Durable against the sidewalk and concrete!

This is a good jump rope that appears to be well constructed. We purchased the 7' rope for our 6 and 8 year olds. As it turns out this is probably a little short for our 8 year old and would recommend going with the 8' for anyone around the 48" tall mark. Otherwise our kids have loved the product.

Ordered for my kiddos but longer than I expected. I bought two different sizes so I use this one and the kids use the shorter one. We have had a lot of fun with these over the break; especially since it has been cold. Good indoor exercise!

The jump rope is made a little too big for small children between 5-8 years of age. I would recommend making them smaller or adjustable.

I purchased two 8 foot jump ropes for my daughters to play with their friends in the neighborhood. Colors and design are true to image. The plastic cylinders make the rope swing even and give more control to the jumper. My daughter love this jump rope. It's better than all the other ropes we have purchased in the past.

I got this for my four year old. He loves it. It’s the perfect weight and I like that you can easily adjust the length. I was able to remove some beads and tie it back to shorten it without any problem. Love the rainbow colors.
