I've only had this watch one day. The reason was to revive the memory of some dear relatives who had passed away. I chose this one based on looks, choice of bells and other reviews. The chimes are beautiful and the clock is beautiful. I am very happy with my fast, well-packaged purchase! I would recommend it to others.

It was a really good buy for me! I love these watches. It looks really elegant and sophisticated just like the picture. Time seems to be ticking and I like the Chinese! They sound like the chimes of a grandfather clock. I love it, it makes me feel like I live in a big rich house! :-) The only problem is that the knob behind the clock to adjust the volume is very difficult to turn with your finger. You have to design it differently to make it easier to manipulate.

I love quality and this product has it. Calls are fine and I can easily switch between Whittington and Westminster tunes. Adjusting the volume is also very easy by pressing a button on the back. Some people have problems with pendulum swing speed. I measured the length of the swingarm and it's about 7 inches including the shim. That is the maximum for a watch of this size. Remember that short pendulums swing faster than long ones. If you want a slower pendulum, buy a larger clock.

This is the second Seiko Chime I have purchased from Princeton Watches on Revain and I love both. This mantel clock is gorgeous and the chimes are so pretty! Both clocks strike the same. I buy white dials with black hands so I can read the time on the watch better. The only problem I had was being able to turn up the volume and set the time. The buttons are difficult to see. OK - first of all it shows the exact time because it is battery operated. So. This is a watch that does its job. But they are also very beautiful, and the carillon is quite pleasant. When we downsized a few years ago, I really missed the look and sound of our beautiful grandfather clocks. I passed it on to one of my sons but the house seemed empty.
