Magnetic mouth cover doesn't work as well as I hoped; but I also have to say that this is the first balaclava I've tried. In cold and windy conditions (exactly what I wanted!) you really need goggles or tight-fitting sunglasses to protect your eyes and the area around them.

Great design, magnet works well and fits comfortably under my helmet. I didn't feel a bit of wind around my mouth. There are only 2mm holes punched there, so if it's SUPER windy your lips will freeze! I had to take a piece of felt and put it in the mouthpiece. Still a solid 4 star product!

The best balaclava in the world. The magnetic, detachable piece is perfect for when you're getting too hot, need to talk, or get too wet. Because this part of the mask is similar to neoprene, it retains its shape which eliminates the constant chafing of the face with wet material that has pissed me off with other balaclavas. I can hardly go outside without this thing.

It doesn't really warm, but offers additional protection against wind and cold. The magnetic face mask is good and folds to the side. Just be prepared to throw on an extra hat or hood for extra warmth.

Great idea but wrong size/shape. I wear size S/M and am a slim 5'4" woman. There is enough room in the chin area, but the magnetic part of the mask that is placed on the cheekbones does not close completely. Would be too big for me, but this one will don't stay closed, I haven't used it on the slopes yet, but I'm skeptical.

This mask saved my trip to Teton. Sub-zero weather is nothing! The integrity of the breath ensures you don't press against your saliva like a mask with your mouth closed. The magnetic lining was great! It connects every time, and despite being in sub-zero temperatures, the magnetic strip stayed as warm as my face. Warmed my head and neck! Are you looking for a way to save your investment in sub-zero temperatures, here you are! Works great with glasses.

But I had to send it back because it was too small. That works great. It says it will fit a small/medium adult but it doesn't even fit my 12 year old daughter who is small for her age. Maybe it should be listed as Youth Big. Plus it works great and loves the magnetic detachable bezel. Works great when you need to eat or drink without taking everything off and still stay warm.

For the most part this is a really good item, highly recommend, what I don't like is a small issue with the mouthpiece and I thought at first it was because it was new let it sit with that it fits, but that didn't happen, which I consider a significant disadvantage. I tried to contact the manufacturer via email but they never answered me. That's one of the reasons I only give it three stars if they know. I would give them a full five stars
