Description of Semi-Enclosed Enclosure Kit – Optimal Protection for Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone, Arduino UNO, Mega

This is a multi-purpose semi-enclosed enclosure kit, Supports Raspberry Pi 1 Model A+ / Pi 1 Model B+ / Pi 2 Model B / Pi 3 Model B / Pi 3 Model B+ / Pi 4 Module B / Pi Zero / Pi Zero W, Arduino Uno R2 / Uno R3 / Mega 2560 R2 / Mega 2560 R3 / MKR Series etc, and BeagleBone / BeagleBone Black / BeagleBone AI / BeagleBone Black Wireless / BeagleBone Green / BeagleBone Green Wireless or SanCloud BeagleBone Enhanced. It can be assembled very flexibly as a semi-closed enclosure, or as a two-layer bracket, or if you buy multiple sets, it can be used as a Raspberry Pi cluster case. The space between the lower cover and the upper cover is 40mm, support Raspberry Pi direct stack HAT module, or Arduino stack SHIELD module, or Beaglebone stack CAP module. Compared with other enclosures, the project is more practical and flexible. The material of the lower cover and upper cover is 1.5mm thick aluminum plate, which is very strong, spacer/standoff and screws are nylon material. Packing list: 2x covers, 8x M4x40mm standoffs, 4x M4x10mm spacers, 4x M4x8mm screws, 16x M2.5x6mm screws, 8x M2.5x10mm spacers (for Arduino MKR module install, must use M2x12mm spacers and M2x6mm screws, but the kit not include these spacer and screws).

Simple but effective stackable Raspberry Pi mounts.

This is a very good stackable structure for stacking multiple Raspberry Pi boards. Attaching 10mm thick USB M.2 cases to the top of the overlying layer (with Velcro). Having a 6 inch Type-A to Type-C cable is messy (see posted photos). Just a thought. I posted the question, maybe it can lead to discussion.

Pros
  • Single Board Computer
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Missing disclosures. Mediocre cuts.

These are two bent aluminum pieces with a bundle of plastic washers. Yes, and a third of the bullets are missing. So it's really two bent pieces of aluminum (with jagged edges and less-than-perfect cutouts) with inadequate plastic washers. For $18...good thing Revain is good with returns...

Very versatile for single-board computers

I am very satisfied. Bought 2, just put them together. The case above is the Geekpi 4 armor which couldn't be attached directly so I used 3m thick tape. All ports are fully accessible, I wish it had a longer set of screws for the RasPi so I can plug it in directly, but this will work fine.

I am working on a robot project that uses Raspberry Pi. This really is a great case for projects that need to hook up a Raspberry Pi. You get a lot of options and a lot of dead ends. I managed to fit two crimson RPi 4s and a Zero to this case. If you have more than two Pis, you will need additional racks. Speaking of shelves. I can "probably" say that the pillars are the only weak point of this case. They are made of plastic and can easily break or tear if you are not careful. I haven't had…
