Pleasantly surprised by the reviews

I think some of the reviews I read are outdated and they scared me so much that I invested $300 in this accessory. My biggest fear was that it wouldn't be loud enough. It may have been a firmware update, but now these headphones are VERY loud. You can make them so loud that it can be dangerous for your ears. So if that bothers you, take it easy. Everything else about them is pretty great. Easy charging. Pairing with my phone was a bit annoying at first. (Hold middle button for 12 seconds, press

Sena SRL2 Motorcycle Headset

Directions are confusing. After following the instructions, the headset will first tell you that it is paired. However, this is not the case. You need to go to configuration settings to select pairing. After that it works. Overall quality is decent, but my old plain $20 headphones sound better and have more bass. I think $300 headphones should sound better. Shoei designed this headset to match the J Cuise 2. They had to make a groove for wiring. Sliding a relatively small diameter cable between

  • Vulgarity

Almost inaudible above 50-60mph

I really wanted it to work, but when paired with a GT-Air 2 helmet you have two options: 1) No hearing protection - works fine until you over 20 mph when wind noise from the helmet makes hearing the speakers impossible. 2) With Hearing Protection - You have to turn up the volume on the speakers and your device(s) to barely hear it above 60 mph. I can't drive without hearing protection. It's just bad without him. So with hearing protection on, these speakers need to be as loud as possible and…

Perfect fit but not worth the money

I bought the Sena SRL 2 months ago. Installation was very easy and it fits my GT Air 2 helmet perfectly. I think the best thing about this BT device is the perfect fit and you don't feel it, unlike other BT devices where you hold the microphone and sometimes the headphones need to adjust again need to be repaired. But I think for this price you should have better sound quality, maybe placing the headphones closer to the ears would do better. I don't really like the charging socket either, it's…

Fits Accessory

The good thing about this headset system is that it is not visible from the outside of your helmet. Designed for Shoei GT Air II motorcycle helmets. The system is quite easy to install. The sound quality is low. When listening to music, there is no base at all. The volume controls are on the left side outside of the helmet and are difficult to use with gloves because you don't feel the buttons. If the sound was better I would probably find the value for money better as this is not a cheap…

Medium sound, not modular, difficult to operate with gloves

I bought this kit and used about 10,000 miles on my daily commute and some trips. It fits the amazing SHOEI GT Air 2 helmet. Installing the kit was relatively easy, but that's when the first disappointments began: - Build quality: the cables are very thin and fragile (compared to other kits I've used). Almost immediately, the black insulation peeled from one of the wires next to the plastic clip, exposing the wire. I'm afraid that sooner or later I'll accidentally break it when I remove the…

Why are we skipping this company?

After so many years, why do we still ignore this company for their crappy gear? Bad design, unintuitive design, bad speakers. Let's deal with it. Sluggish Speakers - Sena has always shipped the lowest quality speakers with their systems. They are suitable for vocal reproduction, e.g. B. Podcast, intercom (although volume is debatable), but are you trying to play music? And you get the thinnest, poppiest, breathiest sound you've heard since small diode speakers were invented. Ironically, you get
