🎨 Sennelier Picasso Oil Pastel Set, 120 Colors, Multi-Purpose Review

3 colors missing; sky blue, blue gray and sap green. Just a soft colored pencil and 3 black, 3 white, 2 light red, 2 viridian green and 2 chrome dark green. It is not clear why they were duplicated. Better would be 3 missing or more blenders than an additional random red and green. I buy others separately as these are the shades I work with a lot. The quality is good, I will compare with separately purchased and send back.

These oil pastels are by far the best of the best, they are creamy smooth. I also have a Mungio set. I love the color choices but after having the 72 Mungyo set I was color spoiled and buying this set with fewer colors is an adjustment. I am new to oil pastels and find Senneliers more of a challenge because they are so soft and I have problems with smearing at the end. And I use paper. But it's light years ahead of the others. Fantastic pastels, I've always used those horrible student quality oil pastels but they are just wonderful and amazing! I bought these to give oil pastels a second chance as student quality pastels give a lot of people a bad impression of this art medium, but they are great! I have tried other oil pastels in my life and to put it simply these Sennelier oil pastels are by far the BEST I have ever tried and that includes even some of the more expensive brands.
