I love that I can connect my hearing aids via Bluetooth.

Perfect match for the Phonak Com Pilot II remote control for my Phonak hearing aids. I love that I can connect my hearing aids to my computer via Bluetooth and stream music directly to the hearing aids.

Missing for me

This model does not support AD2P. You need the pricier BTD 800s. I had already paid more than I wanted for expensive Sennheiser headphones and didn't want to add nearly $100 again to get a BTD 800 just to get $350 headphones to work; So I sent the headphones and adapter back. It connected easily to my MX-450 headphones, but didn't produce any better sound than without them; this. Bluetooth of my computer. There was also a lack of control over the device through the headphones, with the…

According to Sennheiser customer service, Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 on-ear headphones are not compatible with this dongle. Instead, they claim that their non-aptX BTD-800 model is compatible. If you're looking for an AptX Bluetooth dongle to connect your PC/laptop to your Momentum headphones, look elsewhere. Compatibility is not mentioned in Sennheiser product descriptions, manuals and documentation.

First useful Bluetooth dongle

After trying two "low power" Bluetooth 4.0 USB adapters, I was fed up with random disconnects, lack of apt-x support, and literally a maximum range of 2.5 to 3 m. With the exception of the MDR-1RBT headphones, I used one of what appeared to be three apt-x licensed USB adapters (BTD 500). After two days, I had exceptional range with no noticeable audio lag. The plug and play support for apt-x was just as great. The only reason I'm giving it one star is that all the volume/headset options don't…

Works on PS4! Good product!

I was looking for a good USB BT dongle that works with PS4 so I can connect my Turtle Beach PX5 headset. There is an article online that mentions the Sennheiser BTD 500 so I bought it. I tested it on my PX5 and PS4 and they work great. These headsets use a fiber optic connection for game audio, which works well. The problem was in the BT mic. As everyone knows, Sony does not allow anyone to use unapproved third party headsets, especially BT headsets. However, you can use a USB headset and…

UPDATE 26 FEB. Although I really liked the performance of this dongle, I ended up sending it back! I was very upset but in fact I received it specifically to use with my Phonak Marvel devices. Turns out DONGLE works A-OK but my assistants are just really dumb and clumsy when it comes to pairing and connecting. They refused to stay both paired and connected to two simple devices: this dongle and my phone. Mobile won. So I cursed and gave the key back. Also note that for a 2019 MacBook Pro or…
