This is a win-win. I won't change for any other. And the famous 58th Shurik loses to him in sound. period of use from 2022 to the present day Got pros: Professional vocal microphone. Perfectly showed himself at a hundred concerts and rehearsals. The sound hasn't gotten worse in 10 years. Very warm sound transmission, no overtone loss. Ideal for women with mezzo, very beautifully emphasizes the color. Has some cons: after 6 years, the paint on the case cracked, but these are such trifles.

Everything about the purchase suits me, a very necessary product.

I compared this microphone with Shure 58. Sennheiser has a cleaner sound, more "velvety". The microphone is heavy and pleasant to hold in the hand. I bought it for home karaoke (the equipment is not budget), I am very satisfied. The connection cable is NOT included.

Pros
  • Quality for 5 +
Cons
  • All OK

Good product! in Microphones

I use this mic for lead vocals when I play with my church band. The mix works great! I really love Sennheiser microphones. This is the 6th I've bought. I have another e845 along with three e867 condensers and one e965 condenser for rehearsals and services. I can only recommend Sennheiser products!

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great mic for home gigs.

I use it with my Yamaha Baby Electronic Piano with stand, with the speaker a little behind me and above me so I get some monitor too. Very weak signal from the piano and speakers and I can get quite hot with no feedback. Solidly built. The on/off switch is very convenient to use. I tried SM58S. A good mic to be honest, but I went back to this 845-S for the clarity, warmth and comfort of use.

Pros
  • There's something there
Cons
  • Not the best

The dull sound of the vocal

I've had the 835 for 15 years and expected it to be an upgrade but my 835 blows it away. I really tried to love it - I tested it for about half an hour singing the same phrases through both mics, but the sound in 835 is much richer and fuller, even after 15 years, while 935 just a lot boring sound. May be supercardioid vs cardioid but I think my positioning mitigates that and I tested my Fishman Loudbox Artist amp at home with no instruments or ambient noise to compete with the voice. I will…

Pros
  • is clear even for the old
Cons
  • . Upgradeable

Sennheiser is good but this one didn't work for me

IMHO Sennheiser products generally outperform many other brands in terms of sound quality. I also have an e945 and all the reviews I read on different sites said that the 845 series and 945 series are very similar and that the only difference is that the 845 has a switch, so I have risked it and bought it. .I hate to say this, but I was a bit disappointed when I tried it both with the band and during the recording at home. The sound quality was thin no matter how much EQ I used and the volume…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Style 90

Pros: - Very controlled sound. The sound is excellent out of the box, with practically no EQ supercardiod. Ideal for muting ambient noise. This mic features a humbucking coil that is great for eliminating EMICons. You may need to add a foam windscreen due to the mediocre blast suppression. There's nothing remarkable about that. It looks like any other portable microphone - all you get is a thin body and a microphone. For the price you pay you don't get anything else. Conclusion: I can't…

Pros
  • Good looking
Cons
  • Frequency

Amazing microphone suitable for dynamic mics

I bought this for my friend who is a solo singer/guitarist. She had to turn the gain down on everything she had because the performance of that mic clipped everything, and left the settings the same as her Shure SM58. The level of noise reduction "out of the cone" is extremely impressive. I recorded my girlfriend using a cheap studio condenser mic (MXL V67G) but since then I've started recording her instead. The sound is very transparent as it doesn't seem to emphasize the mids or highs like…

  • New to my collection
