pretty neat on motion detectors

I like this sensor. it works very well. MY problem is getting the timing and sensitivity to the desired level. Now a note: I wish Amazon had a multiple rating system or sections to rate this product. I only took off that fifth star because the two settings are a bit finicky. I would have liked a larger adjustment range for my application. an example might be in 5 second increments of hash marks for on-time, and for sensitivity it might be meters/feet or some other value. Exactly what I needed!

Installs it in my mailbox which then activates the raspberry pi which then emails me to let me know my email was delivered (or fake I guess ). The timer delay is good, keeping the raspberry pi powered up long enough to boot up, send an email, and then shut down again. The things this can be used for are amazing, your imagination is the only limit to its possible implementations. By the way, if you're reading all of this, just know that I didn't make any of this, I just thought it would be fun…
