Forget all your other socks

I originally purchased these socks for a hiking trip and then decided against them for the actual trip (I went with wool socks instead for the hiking trip). I kept these socks and am I GLAD I did. I'm not sure what it is about these socks, but these are the only socks I want to wear. They feel so good on my feet. I might as well throw all my other socks away. These socks feel great, are just the right thickness, support and breath ability. Highly recommend for the casual comfy daily dresser.

Pros
  • Great fit. Very comfortable for hiking.
Cons
  • The material is cheap and thin

Great socks for the PCT and Beyond

I got these socks in preparation for hiking a 40 mile section of the PCT in northern Oregon last summer. Me and my daughter shared the pack and LOVED them. I went with these because wool tends to irritate my skin but I wanted something that had the same advantages of wool. The arch support and padding was perfect (I tend towards being flat footed so thats a big thing), the socks stayed up without being too tight, they dried fast and didn't feel too gross after days of not being washed. Pros
  • Perfect for year-round outdoor activities
Cons
  • The socks are not suitable for people with wider or more narrow feet

Best socks for hiking I've ever had

I have serious feet issues and I like to hike which really puts them through the ringer. So, socks are really important. These socks are as advertised. They hug my feet without cutting off circulation, they have a nice cushion in the sole, and they look great! Win x 3.

Pros
  • Womens
Cons
  • The socks are not suitable for all seasons as advertised

Keeps warm , and very well fitting

Used these socks for hiking in Yellowstone and it was raining and cold. I liked the fitting and kept warm all day and also used in night while camping during below 30 degree temps.

Pros
  • Easy to mix and match with your favorite hiking clothes
Cons
  • The socks are not recommended for people with foot or ankle injuries

Nice socks for the price

I purchased both the small and medium as I was not certain which size from the reviews. The small fit perfect - I wear a women's size 8 or 8/12 shoe - since the size for small was 6 - 8, and medium was 8 - 10, I wasn't certain. The socks are not very thick, but they worked well for a 7.6 mile hike in pretty sturdy boots. They do not have the cushion of more expensive hiking socks, but they worked fine for a few days of light hiking.

Pros
  • I am on my feet for 12 hours and these socks are soft and comfy
Cons
  • The socks will not stay in place during activity

Perfect socks, they take care of your feet!

Absolutely the best hiking socks EVER. I purchased several other brands that were over $20 per pair and I didn’t like them as much as these. They are thick enough to not slip inside your boots, but not so thick to be overly warm or to change your shoe fit. I wear ankle pads under my socks to prevent my shoes from rubbing, and these did not make it too tight of a fit at all. I wore them on a hiking trip to California, where our treks varied from 90 degree Yosemite in August to 55 degrees…

Pros
  • I got these socks for hiking. I love them so much, I even wear them with my sandals!
Cons
  • The socks lose their shape after washing

Went Hiking With These

I hiked 8 miles on a medium trail with 85 degree weather, they were comfortable and not too hot at the same time. Great to wear for just at home too, have a good amount of cushion and still breathable! I tend to have sweaty feet but these really reduce that problem!

Pros
  • May 21, 2016
Cons
  • The stitching on the socks is uneven and uncomfortable

Update from the covid frontlines -- Love them!

Update: I am a physician working 12+ hour shifts in a coronavirus field hospital, and these socks have been amazing -- they are breathable, cushioned and perfectly "snug" to help keep my ankles from swelling and aching after being on my feet for hours at a time on concrete floors. I had been using them exclusively for hiking and other outdoor activities but once I had the bright idea to try them out at work, I haven't looked back. Just ordered two more sets. These socks fit perfectly!

These socks fit perfectly! Having tried them for months now, they hold their shape and are still very soft. Thanks for attention.

Hiked the Grand Canyon and back, feet didn't fall off!

These socks are great, they have a light padding but slight enough to still fit in your boot comfortably. My advice for long and intense hikes, wear silk socks under these, and dry all the socks out at lunch before you continue. This will save your feet!

Pros
  • These are Fantastic. Thick comfortable and stands up to heavy use and washes. Definitely will buy again
Cons
  • The seams are uncomfortable and tight

Wearing 4.5 years ago and no holes yet

Bought them 4.5 years ago and wore for hiking almost daily… so washed like 235 times each? Got a little thinner around the heels, but no holes or loose ankles. WOW.

Pros
  • No slipping or sliding, thanks to its perfect fit
Cons
  • The socks do not prevent blisters as well as other hiking socks on the market
