work great. I used them to fill in the gaps left by the larger mediums. They absorb liquid very quickly. I would definitely recommend.

Oh my god. This is a find. By far the best medium I've used (and I've used them all!). The product claims to be able to support anaerobic bacteria deep within its pore structure that break down dead bacteria and other organic debris. I have had no problems with clogging and have never washed them with aquarium water. The environment stays clean.

Works great! Siporax has been a leader in biofilters since the 1990s. Now it's back in the same formula but in a smaller format better suited to smaller aquariums. The medium is in the form of a small tablet (reminds me of a large aspirin). The pack supports up to 53 gallons of water. I use it in my HOB filter in my 29 gallon reef tank.
