This remote was difficult to program for my TV. It must be pointed at an existing remote control to "learn". He also seems to "forget" easily. I eventually taught him to perform each of the five functions, but the next time I used him he only did a few of them. Very frustrating! I would keep looking.

Once I understood what was going on, I was finally able to program. Even after the learner remote shows activity, you must press and hold the original remote for two seconds as instructed. Another issue was holding the two remotes too close together (at least 2 inches apart). Also, program the power button and the nearby up button last, as it sometimes crashes when exiting the mode.
