Batteries are not required!

I was a bit confused but this product. At first I thought she was voiced and at least counted the numbers with the kid. I usually buy open toys so I don't need batteries. When I opened it I thought my son (19 months old) would be bored but surprisingly he was very entertained. The only issue other reviews have mentioned is the accuracy of the numbers compared to the ABC version. I would also have preferred the number to go up to 20 instead of having a page dedicated to the characters.

  • cool product

Cool toy BUT... best toy for toddlers

This toy would be awesome and would get 5 stars except my kid can't get the cookies and I can hardly get it without a pry bar. The company definitely missed the mark. Hence this toy gets 3 stars as it is not child friendly enough. And after elmo case with letters (5000 stars) it was a disappointment. It will definitely work on my kids patience level. Check out these wretched snaps on cookies - removing numbers isn't a problem.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Crumpled wrapper

My son loves this. He has ASD and I have.

My son loves it. He has ASD and I used it as therapy. I put it away when we're not using it. I solve parts from nests. You have to snap them in and out, but this secure placement keeps them in place. I will definitely buy a suitcase with letters. My son is almost three and doesn't speak, but when we count numbers I use my index finger and he points (or vice versa) to show me he knows what number I'm calling. Or I tell him it's his turn to drive and if he points the finger I'll call the number…

Funny toy but sometimes confusing

Great toy for learning numbers 1-10. My 2.5 year old who is currently obsessed with Cookie Monster loves it! My only complaint is that the cookies have bumps that are supposed to be chocolate chips, and each of the ten cookies has a corresponding number of chips (so "one cookie" has 1 crumb and "two cookies" has two chips, etc .) and this is the only way to identify cookies based on the order of their numbers. Well, it can be difficult for a toddler to identify chips and distinguish them from…

  • Everything is fine!

I bought this and the elmo ABC Briefcase to help my kids learn letters/numbers, practice matching, etc. The Elmo ABC set was an instant hit - it was a hit with them they liked it. I was very disappointed with this as the small round covers on the right side of the case are VERY difficult to remove and put back. Number 10 is also very tight in place. I fight them like a grown woman and my kids can't handle it. We can just throw away the round caps and use them for numbers instead. Let's see how…

Well! We like the letter version better (Elmo)

We bought this and the alphabet version for restaurants and other outings where we needed a quiet but interactive toy for our 2 year old. We use the alphabet more often because it has more variations, but we left it as an advanced skill. This one has 10 numbers and 10 discs - the discs are interchangeable so you have 10 items to place anywhere and you don't have to match the numbers exactly. So it's a little easier than with the alphabet + you can celebrate with matching drives. The dials…

Baby's thumbs up

My grandson loves Sesame Street. I bought him a red Elmo with letters. I bought this recently because it's a cookie monster that my grandson likes and in this case the letters 1-10 instead of the alphabet. I actually had to return and replace the first one we received. On one side of the box are colored biscuit pieces that can be folded into circles. My grandson could not remove the circles. It was difficult for us too. We kept my grandson's plastic toy screwdriver nearby to get out of the…

So I was happy to give them Monster On the Go cookies.

Elmo's letters have been on the go for about a year now and my kids use them a lot so I was happy to give them Cookie Monster Numbers to take with them on the go. They played with him all day! My oldest son (3.5 years old) is a huge fan of Cookie Monster and was dying to play it! Both my 14 month old and 3.5 year old can write numbers with ease and I was pleasantly surprised that my youngest can write numbers too. The cookies are thinner and harder for kids to reach, so now they need me to use…
