They are a bit stiffer than expected but no problem. They feel good in the hand. I use these pastel blenders. I'm not a big fan of finger blending for two reasons: oily skin and lack of precision. With these tools I can work around both problems. I've found the spiked blender to be the most useful. Cleaning is easy; Although gum is colored with pigments that penetrate it when wiped, blenders don't contaminate what's on your paper with extraneous color.

They do what they are supposed to do. I've used them with water based glues and watercolor masking fluid. Let's see how they hold up after all the washes. That being said, the tips were dirty when they arrived with a line of drips down their throats from glue. Well removed. The biggest surprise was the size. They have a tip size chart but no photos showing the actual size of the full brush. The shaft/handle is the same size as the brushes my 5 kids had when they were kids.
