4 star knife magnet

The plastic disks in the bolt holes popped out when I went to install. Had to get metal washers to keep screws from going all the way thru. As far as hold ability. Not as strong as I had hoped for. I bought 2 in the past from Target-they are real solid and really hold the knives even if you bump the one next to it. If you bump a knife next to the one you grab, it falls off. But it does look good-I just have to be more careful when I grab a knife!

Fair price but kind of weak

Well, you get what you pay for. They work but the magnets are disappointingly weak and its very easy to accidentally knock things off it.I'm using mine to organize my tweezers but I've lost count of how many times I've had to pick them up off the floor.

Strong & Durable Knife Holder

I love my new knife holder! The magnets are strong and spread throughout the wooden block evenly for easy knife gripping. I attached two of them to the side of my refrigerator and it has saved so much counter space in my kitchen - I wish I would have purchased these years ago!

Works very well. good for me

Nicely made, easy to install, and works well. I mounted mine to the edge of my workbench to hold the frequently used, small tools needed for model railroading.

Keep them sharp! best in my review

Surprisingly strong. I was concerned they would be easily knocked off but stay strong. Keeps them sharp too as they tend to get thrown into the silverware drawer constantly, even though I tell everyone they are my "special” knives and treat them gently. No one listens to me.

Exactly what i was hoping for

It made a huge difference on my kitchen counter space. I had a set of knives sitting in a wood block. And being about to get rid of the block and free up the space was exactly what I wanted! We only needed 1. But like have a spare. Husband installed it pretty easily, it came with all screws and anchors. Holds all my knives very sturdily. Don't have to worry about any falling!

It holds average knives and scissors

After I read negative reviews, I took the risk for the money. Installation is easy, I just used different screws and is sturdy holding average kitchen knives. If you want stronger magnet , just buy double for this money

Exactly the size I needed

No more wood block in the counter! I read the reviews and opted to use my own wood screws and anchors.Note: if you have thick handled knives, the plastic base may be too thin to allow the blade to adhere before the handle touches the wall. My cleaver just barely fit.

RV storage solution.

This was a perfect resolution for our knives in out travel trailer. We have no drawers. I was able to come up with solutions for the cutlery but the sharp knives were a problem. I didn’t want to risk shoving my hand in a box and cutting myself. This was the perfect answer. They hang on the wall and stay in place during our drive, no problem.

I bought the two and I always dry my knives so they don’t rust but the other butcher doesn’t and his gives rust marks to knives fyi

Unexpected gauss in my review

The gauss'on the holding of these strips are a bit less then expected. I'm not going to hang sharp objects for that reason.l so I repurposed them for small parts holders when I'm working on my ladders or vehicles.

This is amazing! I don't know why we waited so long to get one. Since this comes with 2 strips. We have one for our knives and one for our BBQ. Best ever.

I bought in good faith.It will not hold knifes sturdy.I returned drove 45 min. One way to return at UPS was charged 15.00 to return Best Buy could careless.

Keeps dropping my knives

Do not buy if you have heavier valuable knives or value your body parts. Have come to kitchen to find knives laying in floor. And watched Damascus steel knife fall from strip. Magnetic conductive strips are not laid level with each other so they don’t hold flat surfaces such as the faces of knives well.

The magnet is NOT as strong as others

If you have heavy knives, look for something more heavy duty. My heavy knives end up on the floor. The magnet isn't strong enough.

These look great, but they aren't terribly strong. I have some allen wrenches on them and it doesn't feel like they could hold much more.

Decent magnets, good design, well made

Solid material, construction and finish. Magnets are OK, wish they were stronger. One of them arrived broken but was easily fixed with some super glue.
