I feel frames are always an overpriced item but these do give you good value considering. They are rustic solid wood (not veneer) which was perfect for my needs (these groovy maps by Tribal Nations Maps). I doubt they are actually recycled barn wood but who knows.I bet they just "distress" the wood to make it look old. Made in China. Size of 8.5 x 11 is accurate. Clips look like they will hold. I used these to frame some canvas board oil paintings I done.I liked the fact it came in a two pack and the same frame came in different sizes as I needed two 8x6 and one 8x10. I only took 1 star because one of the spring clips fell off the back plate (on two different frames) and not sure how well they will hold up.The remaining clips seemed to hold my pictures in well.

At first glance the frame looks interesting - rustic wood. However, the small white marks on both frames turned out to be tears in the thin paper-like veneer. You might be able to cover the white with a brown marker or paint. They will look OK as long as you don't get too close to them. Might work well in a boy's bedroom or a casual family room with soft (dim) lighting. I'm surprised anyone gave this item five stars.

The frames have a great distressed wood look to them. They fit my wife's 11x17 poster art perfectly. She loved the ease with which you can open and close the back. They arrived early and were packaged in a manner that no damage could occur to the frame or the front.

This is the second set of picture frames I have purchased because they are great They are strong and they look great too Give them a try and you will love them just as I do

I needed two frames that would work for things I printed off on 8.5 x 11 paper. I thought these frames would work but they are too big. Not sure what I will do with them now. Description states multiple times that they are for 8.5 x 11 documents but that isn't true if you want an exact fit without using a matte.

These are nice frames that are high quality with personality. They are of better quality of those from dollar stores or Ross.

Frames arrived intact and well packaged. Only thing I wasn’t super happy about was the glass is plexi-glass. Otherwise, great frame for the office!

The picture of these frames do not do them justice, they are much nicer in person! I will buy them again! Thanks for attention.

I had been wanting to display one of my nursing certificates for a while and finally decided to buy these picture frames. They are very solid and have a nice classy look. They were packaged well and were just as described. If I need more frames I’ll definitely get more of these.

These are good quality and did not arrive broken. The wood color is just like the photo and worked perfect for us. I was able to apply command strips on the back of the frames to mount them on the wall with out any problems.

These are sturdy frames and arrived in good condition. However, the finish on the wood is kind of weird and blah. It's shiny on some parts and not on others. Maybe that was intended, but they don't look very nice.

Bought these for the annual pics for the grandparents. My mil has a rustic house and these match perfectly for the pictures of my two boys to go with her Christmas gift!
