Description of 🏎️ Pace Setter 70-1122 Black Performance Exhaust Header

CNC-machined, port-matched thick steel flanges provide postive seal at the head and unrestriced flow into the primary tubes. All tubing is mandrel-bent, 16-gauge carbon steel for excellent durability. Available with standard black paint finish or optional ARMOR*Coat metallic ceramic coating. Unsurpassed fit and easy to install with basic skills. Gaskets included.

Not Worth the Investment

My analysis of this exhaust header showed that it did not perform as advertised. The installation process was difficult, and the overall build quality was subpar. The only positive aspect was the initial price point, but the cons far outweigh the cost savings. Save yourself time and money by investing in a higher quality exhaust header from a reputable brand.

Pros
  • Initial price point
Cons
  • Difficult installation, subpar quality

Modifications Required

If supplied with steel step washers as the OE intake manifold and manifolds are of different thicknesses they will need to be filed. will not match directly

Pros
  • Replacement Parts
Cons
  • Good but not great

Great Budget Header 280Z

Fit was good but not bolted on. We actually had to modify the Y-pipe to connect it to the rest of the exhaust. A welder was needed. They look great and sound great.

Pros
  • Exhaust and Emissions
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options
