Good headlines. - Parts

Matches my 97 Camaro perfectly. The only problem is that the EGR pipe differs from the original exhaust. Therefore, large vises and muscles were needed. But a big improvement in torque. Love it.

Pros
  • Exhaust and Emissions
Cons
  • No Automatic

Burnt spark plug wire.

Installed them on my '97 Camaro. They got so hot they burned one of my new wires even if I didn't touch it. The heat in the engine compartment is too high for them. This will probably burn out my AC supercharger motor.

  • I don't really like it, everything is fine

Poor fit, won't get to the spark plugs

A few things that render them useless, the first and biggest problem is you can't get a socket or wrench to install the center spark plug with the passenger side or rear driver's side. Second, the cross tube touches the oil pan no matter how you move it. And third, the EGR port was misaligned.

Pros
  • Exhaust and emissions
Cons
  • Almost never

Pacesetter 3.8l v6 Camaro/Firebird 95-02

Firstly the photo is not correct although the title is correct. 70-1209 is the exhaust manifold, all gaskets and bolts AND the Y-pipe. It was packed in another box filled with packing peanuts. Very well packed. The screws came well secured in a box within the box. Gaskets come in cardboard sleeves, not bent or anything. THIS ITEM FITS: 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02 Firebird/Camaro 3.8L (NOT 3.4L) v6 Models Black coating will melt off after 1-2 days. You are not very pretty. It was the cheapest

  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Will be added later

Killer header priced at

Professional installation highly recommended. I had a friend install them for me at an exhaust shop due to the need for welding next to a cat and the ball joints need a professional touch. Now for the good: the price is unbeatable. They usually sell for $250. The difference in sound is clearly noticeable, giving even a modest engine the throaty rumble of a muscle car. There is also a significant increase in performance, which is not noticeable at first, however, since the torque is transmitted…
