I bought this for moderate security when taking the scooter to go shopping. The wheel lock is excellent, very strong, but I recommend getting a thicker, strong line for tying. The one that comes with it is too thin.

I won't bet my life on the build quality of locks, but that's more of a deterrent. I use mine to secure the scooter to the wall of the house so it doesn't get carried away as easily and as a secondary deterrent to a larger lock when you're in town. So far, so good.

I like this little lock for our scooters. It might not stop anyone from picking up the bike and towing it away, but we won't leave him alone for long, maybe just to run to the store or something. They attach well to bikes and we love that you can also use the cord as a reminder to remove the lock, or you can wrap it around a pole for added security.

I recommend this to anyone who has an electric scooter and is afraid of being stolen if you leave it outside a store while shopping. This lock is for Xiaomi Mijia M365 but I recently bought a Hover-1 Pioneer and it works great, these scooters with 8.5 inch wheels and rear disc brake are similar so these locks should be advertised as universal.
