Difficult to set up, problems arise every time you want to move them. I had to widen the hole to get friction. However, they look nice and ensure the speaker is held at floor level.

The thread is loose so it can be adjusted. Everything gets tight when you tighten them. The upper parts seem superfluous. I didn't need it. Consider whether you need larger and sharper spikes. They do not penetrate carpets to find solid ground, and they do not sit on thick carpets.

After reading reviews I got Sewell Speaker Spikes because I needed to clean my subwoofer of dirt. After installing the spike boy was I amazed at how much cleaner the bass was. Great repair and also inexpensive and installed quickly. Just stick it on and you're done. A prerequisite for any subwoofer is the absence of spikes as OEM accessories.

I bought this because I got noise complaints from my neighbors. I thought it was my 12" subwoofer so I ordered it and haven't had another complaint yet, they absorb almost all vibration yet allow for extremely clear bass. These are high quality speaker spikes. Well built although it does appear that the threaded rod you use to attach the foot to the speaker should be snapped in place and not loosely screwed in or out of the spike itself. Also, it doesn't interfere with the installation, just makes it a little more interesting. The only downside I can find is that the "pads" cannot be used on carpet if you also use an adhesive backing. I suppose with enough time and people helping you you might have a chance, but
