The motor performs well. Cruise control basically turns a speed on or off. but works great with my old singer, the speed control belt was too small for the 306 singer

The engine was bolted directly to the brother's car as a replacement. Much stronger than factory. This machine can sew like never before. BUT the pedal is terrible. I even tried to disassemble and repair the resistor inside but no. Has 2 speeds. Away, frighteningly fast, straight to ridiculous speed! The resistance inside doesn't work at all. But luckily my original brother's pedal works great with the new motor. You just have to open it and adjust the trimmer for a more powerful engine.

The motor is great I would highly recommend if you can buy it separately. The included pedal is complete junk. It will work for about a week and then slowly lose the ability to work. In fact, it only has 2 speeds: point or top speed. This will damage your projects and the expensive materials you paid for and spent time preparing to sew. The seller sent me a replacement pedal so I really appreciated it. However, the second had the same problems. I also had to send back the first pedal which cost

GOOD First of all, I like the engine. It's actually pretty well built. I've seen comments about "smells burnt". I have the smell of a new engine running for the first time. This part is normal and I'm sure it will go away after a while. BADI won't call the pedal "junk" like some do, but I will say it's cheaper than the motor it comes with.
