Fine lines and ease of use

I have done a lot of quilting and sewing since I retired. I'm tired of finding a safe and easy to use product. These are my favourites. Clean lines and easy loading. Good enough for small areas. They're a little pricey, but they're worth it.

Pros
  • Industry leading
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Easy to write on and easy to tear off!

Leaves marks on cotton blankets very easily. I use it for cutting applique. You don't have to press hard, and the marks are easily removed by rubbing them with your fingers, an eraser, or water. The green paint didn't stain at all. Green is visible on all fabric colors except blue and turquoise. I like it so much that I am considering buying it in white or another color for blue and teal.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Green ceramic chalk is not removed by repeated rinsing.

Very disappointed with this Japanese product. I have a lot of respect for the Japanese, but green chalk sucks. Made my husband a veteran blanket and used green chalk on white fabric. I'm a seamstress so it takes time to complete a project. I applied Brilliant Green before washing and it didn't come out. And the attempt failed three more times. Needless to say I was very disappointed. Ceramic chalk and mechanical pencils work very well, but you need to do something with the crayons to keep them…

Pros
